This is a singular asset for a larger piece still in progress. I wanted to tell a simple story, of two men who love each other and will defend each other no matter the cost. The perfect psoe for this high fantasy story was obviously, the two sword fighting back to back. This posed myriad problems, mostly being that there exist very few reference images for such poses. So i took on the challenge of directing and shooting my own reference. In order to keep my anatomy accurate I did several per-drawings of both the musculature and skeleton.
